Allegra graduated cum laude from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University where she was a member of the accelerated class of students, Pace Law Review, the competitive Pro Bono Scholars program, and the Latin American Law Students Association.

Upon graduation, Allegra represented several Westchester County municipalities through her work in the Municipal Law Department at a prominent White Plains law firm, followed by her work for the City of New York. As an Agency Attorney, Allegra represented the New York City Administration for Children’s Services in a variety of proceedings in Manhattan and Bronx Family Court. More recently, Allegra has been elected to the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery Board and Historic Fund, where she serves as a Director and Legal Counsel for both boards.
